Sculptural design
Asked to create a chair that would exert a hypnotic fascination on all who beheld it, we grasped the opportunity with both hands. We were given carte blanche to come up with a uniquely stylish design, and took our inspiration from a graphical point of view. Balini is basically a linear sculpture. The challenge was to bring all vertical and horizontal lines into a harmonious balance.”
